About MediBasket
MediBasket.co.uk is a demonstration of a modern UK online healthcare store — designed to show how a complete customer journey and back office could look and feel.
What this build is
This is a proof-of-concept (POC) built to demonstrate an end-to-end e-commerce experience for everyday healthcare and over-the-counter products. It covers browsing and search, a working basket with server-side pricing, a checkout with simulated payment, order management, inventory, customers, coupons and reporting.
Every product, price, customer, order and payment you can see is fictional demo data generated when the application first starts. MediBasket is not a real business, is not a registered pharmacy, and is not authorised to supply any medicine.
What this build is not
- It is not a live shop — no order placed here will ever be fulfilled.
- It does not take real payments. All payments run through a demo service.
- It does not provide medical advice, diagnosis or pharmacist consultation.
- It does not supply prescription-only medicines. Restricted classifications are shown to demonstrate how they would be blocked, and cannot be purchased.
